Industrial Visit
M. Pharm students visited SDS Nutraceuticals, Tasawade, Karad under the kind cooperation of Shri. Rajendra Pawar, Manager SDS Nutraceuticals on 30th Jan 2013. The plant has fully automatic machines for granulation, drying, compression, capsule filling, packaging and labeling. At ground floor, there are store, granulation, compression and packing departments. In process quality control and Research and Development activities are carried out in second and third floor. The major equipments seen by the students are fluidized bed dryer, tablet compression machine, blister packaging machine, bottle filling machine, 8 stage dissolution test apparatus, HPLC, etc. The plant is fully air conditioned and dehumidified. The most important thing is that hygiene is maintained at the highest level.
